Political Irony

I would not have been surprised to have some 'friction' while working the poll this evening. I had even worked through some scenarios in my mind, to prepare just that right verbal retort.

As it turned out, I had a very pleasant few hours talking about all kinds of issues with a very nice lady who was working the poll for the State Rep. race for the Democrat Party candidate. Although we were on opposite ends of the spectrum politically, we were amiable as could be.

Of course, we were talking innocuous topics like POLITICS.
